At Enrich, safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and we’re proud of the way our students engaged in these vital conversations during Safeguarding Awareness Week.
With rising temperatures and local tragedies, we spoke to students about the dangers of swimming in reservoirs.
During Safeguarding Awareness Week DSLs from across the trust participated in training around knife crime in Wakefield. Throughout the week, our team also completed additional training to strengthen our safeguarding practice. #safeguardingawarenessweek
Our C-Card drop-in sessions supported students around sexual health, with QR signposts to services outside of school. #safeguardingawarenessweek
Safeguarding Awareness Week at Enrich Academy
This year’s theme was Empowering Children to Be Safe Online — Students took part in online safety quizzes, including the hidden meaning of emojis. #safeguardingawarenessweek
We welcomed Turning Point for workshops about ‘what’s inside my vape?’ and raised awareness of the risks behind QR codes, which can sometimes link to sites selling drugs. #safeguardingawarenessweek
